The Wonderful World of Wikis

This semester, there is an Explorations group called Wikis and Online Communications scheduled from 2:10-3:00pm.

I have heard that some TS staff are interested to participate online, so what thoughts are on your mind about cyer-communications and wikis in particular? Let's get the dialogue rolling!

In Fall 2006, Matt T., Nik R., and Melissa H. (me) began exploring wikis as a communication tool and an online space for sharing teaching resources. Here are links to our posts from last term:
What's a wiki?

What's a wiki made of?

How are wikis started?

Thanks Rene'e

It took both our efforts to get me here, but here I am.

I have decided that when it comes to technology one does better to not think too much. LOL.

LCC Librarians Blogging!

TS colleagues, check out the Library Instruction Contact Information web page! Several colleagues' names link to blogs used for instructional purposes with students.

At the time of this post, Karl and Suzanne B. have joined Kim's exploration of blogs to generate student feedback. Kim recently commented to the post Edu-Blog, where she describes how the blog works as a sounding board for sessions.

Librarians, please keep us posted on your progress!
